Who We Are

The College of Alberta Dental Assistants is the regulating body for the profession of dental assisting in Alberta. Under the Health Professions Act (HPA) our primary mandate is protection of the public. We achieve this through standards for registration including dental assisting program approval, examination, continuing competence, a Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

We are also responsible for investigating complaints made about RDAs, and carrying out discipline processes in accordance with the HPA.

We remain committed to the service and development of the membership.
